Fun Days - Enter a New World..
A powerboat experience with a twist; personal, affordable, custom powerboat day trips.
We invite you to join us, and share a special day of fun and beautiful scenery on the water in Poole. You will have the use of a Boston Whaler Nantucket 19ft powerboat, inclusive of skipper who will be there to meet your every need whilst on the water. All your lifejackets, buoyancy aids, wet-weather gear, personal and boat safety equipment will be provided for the duration of your trip
Our ‘fun days’ are tailor-made trips giving you an opportunity to visit our unique harbour in a personal, friendly way – boating & talking, swimming, eating all whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings that Poole harbour has to offer. Some examples of possible trips are as follows:-
Island Tours
Enter a new world… taking a trip around the Islands, from the historic Brownsea, Long Island, Green Island, Furzey Island, Round Island can open your mind the unique landscape our harbour has to offer. Quiet areas to the south of the islands ensure a relaxed and peaceful trip and some great anchorages for a spot of lunch.
River Trips
Escape to the peace and tranquillity of Wareham. Cruise along the picturesque River Frome to the historic market town Wareham (subject to tide times). Watch the wildlife, enjoy the varied scenes, perhaps even enjoy a pub lunch at The Quay Inn’.
Quay Active
Cruise through Poole harbour, taking in the delights and stunning scenery that our beautiful harbour has to offer. Admiring all the delights of Poole quay from the awesome Sunseeker international to the new RNLI college. Perhaps stopping on Poole Quay for a lunch/dinner at one of the fine pubs/restaurants the area has to offer; from the light, fun atmosphere of the Jazz café to the continental cuisine of the Custom house. Your skipper will arrange a pick up time after your meal either to continue your cruise around the harbour or to take you back on a twilight trip to Lake Yard.
Firework Extravaganza:
Every Thursday night in September (subject to weather conditions). Join us for a new experience; watch the fireworks from the water, a totally different environment! Join in with the Poole quay festival from 6pm making sure that you are back on board for the firework finale at 10pm.
Timings
We leave the Lake Yard at a time to suit you and can return well into the evening, making the most of your day. This can give you a chance to enjoy the whole experience and then finish with a taste of life on the water, as day becomes night – a magical time.
Meals
Your lunch can be provided, then after a day on the water, relax with a delightful afternoon tea or supper at the clubhouse. Alternatively, we can drop you alongside Poole or Wareham quay so you can enjoy the local cuisine.
Maximum Numbers/ Minimum Ages
Due to the nature of the activity the minimum age is 8 years old.
We can take friend/ family / couples in groups of up to 5 for the day, this way we can make sure that our trips are personalised and friendly.
Fun Day Fees
Half day - £100- (max 5 persons / max 3 hours)
That works out at just £20- pp** !
Full day - £200- (max 5 persons / max 6 hours)
That works out at just £40- pp** !
Evening - £100- (max 5 persons / max 3 hours)
That works out at just £20- pp**!
(Fun day fees include the following: boat, fuel, skipper, lifejackets/buoyancy aids, wet weather gear, personal & boat safety equipment)
